Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco celebrated their 1st wedding anniversary by eating cake and watching their wedding videos in pyjamas. “We’re so cheesy,” Gomez said of their celebration.
Gomez shared the details during a red carpet interview on October 14, 2026. She was attending the 4th annual Rare Impact Fund Benefit, held at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles.
Gomez described how they’d spent the occasion: “Oh, we actually just ate a piece of cake and watched videos in our pajamas.” Asked which videos they’d chosen, she answered, “The wedding videos!”
The couple married on September 27, 2025, in Santa Barbara. Sea Crest Nursery was the venue for the ceremony they revisited through their anniversary viewing.
Blanco had shared a wedding memory before their anniversary. On September 15, 2026, he joined Jenna Bush Hager as a guest host of TODAY with Jenna & Sheinelle. During that appearance, Blanco recalled that Gomez’s nana had advised him at their wedding to save the cake.
