You have to believe that there are still good people left in this world. Because there are. There are people who will show up for you and care for you. There are people who mean it when they say that they will stay.
There are people who would never think of hurting you, who would never think of leaving you behind.
There are still people you can trust; there are still people who are tender and kind and honest. And I know that you have been hurt before, and I know that every gentle part of you wants to give up on believing, but you must. You must. Because they exist, and you will find them. Don’t ever stop trusting in that; don’t ever stop searching.
