Conor Kennedy married Brazilian singer Giulia Be in Rio de Janeiro this weekend, with his father, the U.S. Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., attending the celebration and staying at the Hotel Fasano in Ipanema.
Brazilian outlet Quem reported he was photographed taking a dip in the sea at Ipanema beach, flanked by men who appeared to be his security, before heading back to the hotel wrapped in towels.
Conor and Giulia had a religious ceremony on Saturday, October 10, at Igreja Nossa Senhora do Carmo da Antiga Sé in central Rio, with around 200 guests. The couple had a blessing at Christ the Redeemer on Friday, then a reception at a historic mansion in the Jardim Botânico neighborhood.
Kennedy, 72, attended with his wife, actress Cheryl Hines. A motorcade brought the two into the ceremony surrounded by Brazilian Federal Police.

Conor’s brother Finn was a groomsman, and his sister Kyra, who first connected Conor and Giulia, was there too.
Conor, an associate attorney based in Los Angeles, is the son of Kennedy and the late Mary Richardson Kennedy. He and Giulia began dating in 2022 and legally married in March 2026 at the family’s Los Angeles home, saving the religious ceremony for Brazil.
Giulia told gshow she is from “the most beautiful city in the world” and that Rio was her only chance to bring his whole family to Brazil.
Giulia’s father, Paulo Marinho, hosted a lunch in honor of the couple and of Kennedy. Joking to Quem about the hours of an outdoor meal that ran into the night, Marinho said, “after all, the Americans go to bed early.”
Both Donald Trump and Brazilian President Lula were invited to the multi-day celebration, according to Brazilian press, but neither attended.
